I saw something on a website that mentioned Cafe Pharma and thought i would check back in...i was reallocated from Lilly 2 years ago....while it was painful - i have never looked back...it was the best thing that happened to me...i hated being there every day, felt i really was unable to make a difference, felt the managers, directors, senior management were so out of touch....hated the way i felt about myself and probably the way they "perceived" my abilities - like maybe i wasn't as good as i used to be....My mistake, i let them beat me down. Here's my suggestion - don't rely on Lilly to take care of you - look out for yourself - you are responsible for your welfare. Do not let them define who you are - you define yourself. There are unbelievable jobs that are out there for people who have not lost faith in themselves - there are many jobs posted on the outside dying to hire a good strong person. Take sick days, take vacation days, get your head in the game, decide who you want to be and who you are. Put your resume together and devote time to look. Its so much better to get up everyday and go to work without the ugliness that surrounds being a part of Lilly now. It's not worth it. Everyone there knows it is not the company that it was even in the 90's. Customers know it, you should too. It's worth it to even have less salary for the happiness and enjoyment that you will have. This is not life to be working in a stressful, spiteful environment. There are very very good companies out there. Good luck to all of you....don't let a golden handcuff keep you miserable.
