Instead of biiiittttch1nnn, file a lawsuit against this company. There are many openings both in specialty, hospital and primary care openings. If you were laid off those positions should automatically be GIVEN to laid off employees as long as you were not in the bottom of rankings. That would be the only reason a company can argue to not automatically place you. Also if you were specialty and a position opens up in primary care, they should still place you without any reduction in salary. It is irresponsible to have a layoff and not place employees automatically on open spots if possible. Interviews should only occur if two or more reps from the recent lay off want the spot. Also remember you are a paid employee until June so if an opening is available, it is your right to be placed.
