Responsible for the development of assigned large or national accounts focused in the Pharmaceutical/Healthcare sector. Goal of maximizing revenue for the full range of products in assigned business units portfolio by proactively building and maintaining customer relationships in assigned territory; prospect for potential opportunities from within accounts in assigned territory and from reliable and known sources, screen leads, and build a pipeline of interested prospects in assigned business segment products and services; serve as a resource and partner for internal sales teams providing consultative advice of assigned business segment product suite and how it can be applied to achieve measureable business results for the prospect or client, working in collaboration to close opportunities; respond to request for proposal, preparing statements of work and pricing proposals engaging appropriate resources as needed; lead and participate in the development of a sales strategy for assigned territory and key accounts in collaboration with internal sales teams, providing realistic and accurate sales forecasts as assigned.
