There won't be any Merck reps by 2017. Marketing models and forecasting data suggest that reps won't have enough impact and access to justify a sales force. The number of clinics open to reps, continued generic growth, and lack of incentives to innovate will soon outweigh the cost of a sales force.
The funny thing is that nobody knows whether or not this post is true. I could be your CEO but you won't ever know. I could just be another naysayer. Think about it...why would you ever trust anything on CP? Or, what can you trust on CP? The answer is...it's all a guess so why even read anything that is posted here?
