POSITION SUMMARYPatients Choice Laboratories is seeking a highly motivated sales consultant for the St. Louis Territory with aspirations to be a leader in our organization. The successful Sales Consultant will demonstrate the ability to target and manage their territory strategically while operating within an assigned budget. This person will be responsible for all sales activities from lead generation, closing, and maintaining accounts in an assigned territory. This position is perfect for a candidate who is seeking a career that possesses tremendous opportunity to grow within the organization.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESInclude but are not limited to the following:Build and manage sales funnel from beginning to end.Travel to meet existing and potential accounts throughout the territory.Proficient user of CRM sales tracking software.Service existing accounts and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.Adjust content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.Develop solutions, prepare reports and make recommendations to management.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional events, including some exposition and public speaking engagements.MINIMAL REQUIREMENTSAt a minimum, the Sales Consultant will have a 4-year Bachelor degree, or equivalent work experience without degree. S/he will also have at least 4 years of prior outside sales experience. Experience in pharmaceutical or lab sales. Pain Management background a plus.ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONSInclude but are not limited to the following:Strong prospecting, negotiating, closing and presentation skillsHighly effective territory and time management skillsWell-developed written and oral communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to work both independently and in a team setting towards meeting established objectivesAptitude for being performance and results drivenStrong sense of self awarenessAbility to travel locally, but work from a home-based officeWORK ENVIRONMENTThis is a full-time, remote position based out of a home office.
