Okay, we have to be very careful not to mention his name or he will cry and get this thread pulled (he did get all previous threads pulled-lol) but your new access and reimbursement hire (think director level and brand new) is an absolute train wreck! Many people left posts about how he harasses employees, had documented calls against him from hr, and has a long track record of narcissistic behavior. He was out of work for awhile because most companies were smart enough to stay clear. There were questions about why he was "structured"out of his last job?? Maybe he had too many calls from hr against him. Yeah, he did. Many people were very concerned about how he got through your interview process and fooled people. If you report to this manager (he isn't a leader) start looking for a new position right away. he will play head games, pit people against each other (old big pharma tactic to push direct reports) and use fear tactics to make sure he is always in control. Expect lots of head games, metrics galore and a lot less money because he likes to take bonus money to make himself look good. People commented on how he would use his regionals and stab them in the back by taking credit for their work. Comments were made about how he likes to disarm people with humor but only cares about himself (narcissism). Be prepared for him to compliment your work and cut you to pieces at the same time. Most people who commented on this had experience with his up and down behavior. People suggested that this was either mental or due to big pharma training. If you want to test any of this just challenge him and post back on how it all worked out for you! There was a broad base of comments on how he micromanaged his regionals and was a snake to those of us at the home who supported him. Be cautious and be warned.
