Unethical Reps

I was shocked to find out this company has no problem hiring reps with zero ethics. Just learned that a rep in my area with the worst reputation for doing all things wrong as an area manager. Is Avanir that hard up or an unethical company? This guy has been fired from at least 4 pharma companies for ethics violations - he breaks all the rules and was most recently caught giving Docs gift cards for writing the product he was promoting. Apparently background checks are something done or done well before offers are made or this guy would never have gotten hired. His resume is 90% greatly exaggerated half truths, which of course you have to do when you've been fired from every company you've worked for. Anyway, if this is the type of person Avanir chooses to have represent them I hope Otsuke lays off the sales force and replaces them with decent reps
