15 year vet here, and it is starting to get to me. They have the golden handcuffs, but I am ready to give it all up and go back into teaching.
My question to those that were fortunate to make it so long, is such a volatile industry, is, how did you do it? How did you put up with the mindless field rides? The doctors that didn't like you? The office cows that were jealous? And worse, the back stabbing counterparts?
Isn't there more to life than an easy job and "easy" money?
You must have some regrets working for such a terrible industry. I do. But, the cuffs are too nice to let go.
Just looking for feedback.
Thank Fellow Vets!
