it's not hard to see this acquisition has some major issues. Not just your bumps in the road. Go around the field and look at the way reps are handled now. The ForestWay is being bucked by Actavis reps and Managers. Reps are hearing outdated selling strategies from JL and CR, 'read the script', when they know the script is wrong. Actavis Reps are used to having their knowledge of Prescribers and attitudes in their territories listened to and the freedom to do what needs to be done for the business. They are used to being treated like adults and the perks that go with it
On the Forest side the reps can't understand why it's so difficult to fit in to a POD system. They look at their Actavis counterparts with confusion because they aren't doing things the Forest Way. They see them as entitled reps because they are complaining about a lot from the selling model to reimbursement. They see JL and CR as Sales Messiah'
On the Home Office front, they don't want to hear that things are not working not do they seem to care. The attitude is 'We said it, it must be happening, it must be working'. Look at the technology. Actavis reps don't have lap tops only iPads. Ask your Actavis counterpart how well these new programs run on iPad, if they run at all. Leadership has no idea what to do with CPU. The direction changes every day. You have reps that were great in 1 of the 3 fields now struggling to master the new ones.
Product launches. Really? The dates change which isn't uncommon but by now, after all this time of upper management had to set a road map, they don't even know who is selling what
Now we have Allergan. They seem to be doing it right. Keep as spear ate from the other group as much as possible. Let the people running your ship run your ship. If not, we will have a bigger civil war on our hands.
But enough of that. Time to splurge on my $25 per diem.
