MDP staff

Is it worth staying at Amgen if you have completed MDP and are next in line for a mgt position?

So much effort, projects, added responsibilities went into this. I can't become a DM elsewhere since I have zero mgt experience. Yet, Chances seems slim to none here for advancement here.

Suggestions ??
