Hello all,
I'm currently a junior in a biomedical engineering program and just finished an internship at a top-tier device company. After getting experience as an engineer, I'm not sure if that kind of highly structured lifestyle is for me. I also really enjoy public speaking and giving presentations. I'm getting a business minor and am trying to get a feel for the medical device sales space. For those of you who have worked with reps or clinical specialists who were biomedical engineering graduates, did you think the technical/clinical knowledge from school combined with business training made them effective sales reps? What is your general opinion of colleagues in this space with engineering degrees? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!
