I had no idea about GSK layoffs. I am so sorry to hear about this. I never understand why companies do this before the holidays. Why can't they wait til the new year?
I will say this - all of my friends who have been laid off over the last couple of years from other pharma companies have found industry jobs. I have been reading posts where people say how horrible it is out there, but seriously, even though it took some time, everyone found something within a year.
I hate hearing about layoffs. I hope people have compassion and keep the BS and idiotic comments to a minimum.
