The story behind the story is told by the drummer Jerry Granelli, the last surviving member of the Vince Guaraldi Trio, the trio that recorded the soundtrack to a Charlie Brown Christmas.\r
In 2010, Granelli, who grew up in San Francisco, but has been a mainstay of the Halifax music scene for many years now, together with producer Colin Mackenzie, headed back to the city by the bay to put together the pieces of the Charlie Brown Christmas puzzle.
