Yay...the closure...the moving on point. The no more getting up for work..the decision making for the new future is the biggest problem. Versus...who is going to stab me in the back today?
I'm happy for the people that can still sustain the stress and the daily "job" role changes or the people that are ok with being status quo...as long as there is a continuous large paycheck. No more for me. I feel blessed to have worked for a company that gave a generous separation package that enabled me to move on with my life with much reduced stress (due to the package). You would think leaving such a company would cause much stress...but actually this has removed many stressors...I hope my fellow VTPs feel the same as I do. New hopes..new beginnings...lets wish the Amgen employees left behind the best of luck in their futures. The older generations will inevitably be faced with the same fate in the future. I wish the same fortune to them as I received. Carry on Amgen...and I will do the same.
