Convatec Management-



I recently came upon this forum and now understand why we have seen a "parade of reps" coming through our hospital over the past few years. I am a director of Nursing and a member of our hospital's value committee. We recently awarded our wound business to one of your competitors due to the lack of consistent customer service from your organization ... The last couple of reps (I think 3 in two years) were ill informed on your product line, and no longer provided the consulting service that Convatec had always been known for. For many years, I was loyal to Convatec because of the industry-leading quality of your products and your reps. What happened? The last person form your organization (about 2 months ago) that I met was a strategic account rep who initially completely bypassed the clinical group, (not a good thing) and when he got nowhere with materials management, finally came to see us. (Too late). He told us that Convatec was changing for the better but he completely lacked the ability to engage in any significant kind of discussion on your product line. He was clueless. That was the last straw. I hope someone in the decision-making circle takes note...Well trained, well informed representatives and competitive offerings win the business.
